How to Mute a Video Online

Upload your video
Upload a video or import from a website like YouTube to mute. Make sure your video has sound, or else muting it will have no effect.
Mute the video
Click the volume icon in the right sidebar. This will toggle the sound in your video, thereby muting it. If you want to lower the volume instead of completely muting your video, you can do so with the fine grained controls of the volume slider. Slide the control towards the left to lower the volume, and all the way to the left to eliminate all sound from your video.
Export and Share
Just hit Export, and your final silent video will be produced. Share your newly muted video on social media, and no one will be able to hear a sound.
