How to Record Screen Online

Select from recording screen, camera, or microphone
Click Record and select whether you want to record from your screen, camera, microphone, or all three.
Record your video and/or audio
Record your content. When you’re done simply click Stop Recording in the Record pane. Your recordings will automatically upload and appear in the timeline.
Edit and share
Edit your recording exactly how you want it. Split your clips and move your camera recording around. When you're ready, hit Export and your final video will be produced.

Record Screen and Camera Online

Kapwing's free online screen recorder lets you record a video of your screen from within your browser, without needed to download or install any software. You can use this tool on any laptop or desktop device like a MacBook, Chromebook, or Windows device. Once you enable recording, you'll be able to grab screencast videos in just a few clicks and edit the footage after to ensure it matches what you want.

Start from within Kapwing Studio by clicking the Get Started button above. Then click Record on the left side to open the Record panel. From the Record options, choose whether you'd like record your screen, camera, microphone, or all 3 simultaneously. Once you're ready, click Start Recording.

Once you’re done recording, click Stop Recording in the Record pane. Your new recordings will be uploaded to the project and will appear on the timeline. You can them trim, split, re-arrange, and re-size as needed.

Using the editor, you can add as many audio and video layers as you want! Incorporate other video layers, images, text, and much more. For quick screen recording and video messages, you can even share your project directly from the editor using the Share button in the top right.
